In this delightful  summertime story in rhyme, a young boy is determined to save his fabulous sand-creation from the rising tide. It’s “boy against nature!”  Yelling at the ocean doesn’t help, especially when the sea responds in a most surprising way. At the end of the battle, it can be argued as to who the real winner is. Interesting vocabulary, beautiful illustrations, and a relatable storyline makes this book an excellent choice  for family sharing or a teacher read-aloud.
